Yes, Your Majesty is a turn based strategy combat game. Designed to make you make each playthrough a different experience based on the RPG elements you choose. Our goal it to bring back something nostalgic with some of the best elements in roguelikes that are seen in the industry.

Fight your way through fantasy creatures, grow stronger, choose which stats you want your character to hone their skills on, [Strength], [Dexterity], [Agility], [Constitution], & [Luck]. Each of these attributes provide a unique aspect in the combat of the game. This game was made during the time-frame of the Pirate Software Game Jam #16.

Attributes types:

  • Strength
    • Affects damage tables & stamina usage
  • Agility
    • Combat Turn Order 
      • This will compare stats of the player to the enemy. If a player is greater then they will have more front-end turns in the round. Vice-versa if the enemy has more. If they are equal the player will have priority then alternate for the round.
  • Dexterity
    • Affects stamina replenishment after each round.
    • Affects block ability as a damage reduction percent based on level.
  • Luck
    • Affects percent chance to critically hit and deal maximum damage rather than rolling the damage table min-max values.
  • Constitution
    • Affects how much available total stamina a player has.
    • Affects how much available total  health bar a player has.

We have a few major updates we plan to provide post-jam. Below are some of the ideas we wanted/hope to implement but scope did not allow and are subject to change:

- Procedural generated runs.

- 2 more player classes.

- More enemy regions.

- More Items to change runs.

- Changeable abilities/class progression.

A very lovely game! The style is cute, especially the little scenes with the Queen and the knight. The fighting has a good pace with the animations. Great job. <3
